A trip among Tuscany’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, to discover and marvel at the incredible cultural, historical and artistic heritage of Tuscany: Florence’s old towns, Siena, Pienza, San Gimignano, the Duomo Square in Pisa, Orcia Valley and the Medici villas.
ItinerarY
First day: Pisa
After breakfast, we are going to relocate to Pisa, meet the guide and have a guided tour of the city. We are going to marvel at Ponte di Mezzo, Borgo Stretto, S. Michele in Borgo Church, Piazza dei Cavalieri and Piazza dei Miracoli, the Bell tower, the Battistero, the Duomo and San Francesco Church. Lunch (not included in the offer). At the end of the visits, we are going to check-in to a 4-star hotel in Pisa. Dinner in a historic restaurant located in the city centre. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Second day: Pisa – Poggio a Caiano – Firenze
After breakfast, we are going to relocate to Florence to visit the Medici villa of Poggio a Caiano, one of the Medici residences declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the end of the visit, we are going to relocate to Florence for lunch. We are going to spend the afternoon visiting the Uffizi Gallery. At the end of the visits, we are going to check-in to a 4-star hotel in Florence. Dinner in a historical restaurant in the city centre. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Third day: Florence
After breakfast, we are going to spend the entire day visiting Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance. We begin by visiting Santa Maria Novella and continue with Piazza del Duomo, where we will find the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Battistero di San Giovanni. We then go to Piazza della Signoria, where there are Palazzo Vecchio, the Fountain of Neptune and a copy of Michelangelo’s David and the Perseo by Cellini. After crossing Ponte Vecchio, we are going to reach Palazzo Pitti. Lunch (not included in the offer). In the afternoon, we are going to have a guided tour of Piazza Santa Croce and the Basilica bearing the same name. Lastly, we are going to reach Piazzale Michelangelo, the city’s panoramic viewpoint. Dinner at a historical restaurant located in the city centre. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Fourth day: Florence – San Gimignano – Siena
After breakfast, we are going to relocate to San Gimignano, town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1990. We begin by visiting Palazzo del Popolo, where we find the Museo Civico. On the left side of the Palace rises a high and mighty tower built in the year 1300. You can climb up to the top and admire an incredible view over Val d’Elsa. Then, we are going to visit the Duomo, one of Tuscany’s masterpieces of Italian Romanesque style. At the end of the visits we are going to have lunch in a holiday farm and taste local food products. In the afternoon, we are going to relocate to Siena and visit the old town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, Santa Maria della Scala, San Domenico, the main street and Salimbeni Square are particularly interesting. Also Monte dei Paschi bank is headquartered in Salimbeni Square. At the end of the visits check-in to 4-star hotel in Siena. Dinner (not included in the offer) and overnight stay.
Fifth day: Siena – Pienza – Montepulciano
After breakfast, we are going to relocate and have a guided tour of Pienza, a town rich in history and art, for a guided tour. The itinerary includes a visit to the Cathedral, to the Renaissance monuments, to the medieval quarters and to the scenic streets where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape over Orcia Valley, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. At the end of the visits, we are going to have a cheese tasting of Pecorino cheese in one of the typical workshops located in the old town. In the afternoon, we are going to relocate to Montepulciano. We begin by visiting the Tempio di S. Biagio and continue with Piazza Grande, where you can marvel at the Cathedral, the City Hall, Palazzo Cantucci and Palazzo Nobili-Tarugi. At the end of the visits, we are going to visit a wine estate and have a wine tasting of red wines such as Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. Check-in to a 4-star hotel in Pienza. Dinner (not included in the offer) and overnight stay.
Sixth day: Pienza – Montalcino
After breakfast, we are going to relocate to Montalcino to visit some of the most important sights in the old town such as the mighty Fortress, Piazza del Popolo, Sant’Agostino Church and the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso. Then, we are going to relocate to Castelnuovo dell’Abate where there is the wonderful Abbazia di Sant’Antimo. At the end of the visit, we are going to have lunch in a local holiday farm. After lunch, we are going back to the place of arrival and that is the end of our services. Possible additions or integrations may be added to the main program based on the client’s preferences.

Terme San Filippo
Located between the clay hills of the Orcia Valley and the woods of Monte Amiata, Bagni San Filippo is one of the best thermal baths of Tuscany. The facility includes an 18th century hotel, the healing baths, the wellness centre, and the thermal swimming pool overlooking the spectacular Fosso Bianco.
Terme di Bagno Vignoni
The charming village of Bagno Vignoni, located in the heart of the Orcia Valley Park, was built around a pool from which the healing warm waters gush out. These hot springs are known since the time of the Etruscan civilization. The wellness centre called Le Terme offers thermal bathing and healing thermal treatments.
