Half Board

Music finds its natural home in Venice. The beauty of the city inspired several musicians whose lives and secrets we are going to discover


First day: Venice

Arrival in Venice in the morning and meeting with the guide. We are going to start walking and then making our first stop outside of Ca Vendramin Calergi, where Richard Wagner lived for a long time. We are going to continue towards a district called Castello e we are going to stop in front of the old facade of a church called San Lazzaro dei Mendicanti where concerts that captivated Jean Jacques Rousseau were held. We are going to make a stop in front of the Antico Ospizio dei Derelitti, also known as Ospedaletto, whose chapel was run by high-profile, internationally renowned composers. Walking out of Ospedaletto we are going to make a stop near St.Mark’s district to admire the Ospedaletto della Pietà beloved by Vivaldi. Lastly, we are going to head towards Rialto to admire Palazzo Strozzi, whose owner (Giulio Strozzi) contributed to the birth of the Venetian opera. At the end of our walk, we are going to stop for a refreshing drink in St. Mark’s Square. Then, we are going to board a gondola where an opera singer will sing for us some of the most important operas and/or historical Venetian songs. In the evening, we are going to check-in in a hotel, have dinner and overnight stay.

Second day: Venice

After breakfast, we are going to have a guided tour of some of the city’s most famous landmarks: St. Mark’s Basilica and the Piazza bearing the same name, St Mark’s Campanile, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs. Free time will be allotted for lunch in a bacaro, a typical Venetian bar. In the afternoon we are going to see other famous sites in the city such as Rialto Bridge, the Grand Canal, and some of the city’s well-known churches including Chiesa dei Frari. Then we are going up on a rooftop terrace called Fondaco dei Tedeschi. We are going back to the hotel in the evening, have dinner and stay overnight.


Venice and its islands

A tour that will allow you to discover the Venetian islands. We are going to visit the most well-known islands: Torcello, Murano and Burano as well as other minor and uncrowded islands, characterised by evocative atmospheres and historical Venetian traditions.


It is possible to join this itinerary with another one. Further additional tours could be available based on seasonality.



  • 1 overnight stay in a 3 or 4-star hotel in Venice with breakfast included;
